Today, Freestyle Motocross (FMX) is a high-flying, acrobatic spectacle that has captivated extreme sport fans across the globe. What most people don’t know is that FMX is a sport with a rich and storied history, evolving from small off-road events in the 1920s to the death-defying stunts and pyrotechnic displays we see today. This is a story just begging to be told. Fortunately for fans around the world, the wait is over: Welcome toEvolution of Extreme.
Evolution of Extreme is a brand new FMX tour that will take fans on an exhilarating ride through the sport’s rise in popularity, showcasing the evolution and advances in bike technology and stunt creation while paying respect to the pioneers that made it all possible. Headliner Keith Sayers, the self-proclaimed “godson of Evel Knievel” will be joined by an all-star cast of extreme FMX riders that will blow fans away with a gravity-defying, one of a kind performance that will leave fans breathless.
From the same town as Knievel himself, Sayers has called Butte, Montana home for most of his life, and has been perfecting his craft since he first got on a motorcycle at nine years old. Sayers found his calling in FMX early in life and has worked tirelessly for the better part of two decades to make sure he always gives his fans a show they’ll never forget. Outside of the FMX world Sayers is a savvy businessman, securing the ramp-building contracts for SCS racing that allowed him and his team to build every ramp at the 2009 ESPN Winter X games. The Evolution of Extreme tour is Sayers’ way of paying homage to the riders before him, and giving his fans the type of show they truly deserve.
